Staying busy on the moon, design consultancy 110%.
During my 3+ years at LUNAR I was involved with 46 projects and programs across 15+ clients. The work was primarily consumer electronics, some startups, handheld medical, enterprise electronics, and some large medical equipment (genetic sequencers, scanners).
LUNAR was a design consultancy based in San Francisco with both industrial design and engineering in-house. I often worked on cross-functional teams of designers and engineers. They have since been acquired by McKinsey.
Work & Environment
My daily work was primarily core ID process: sketching, brainstorms, concept design, renderings, presentations, detailed design and refinement, and final ID CAD for release to internal and external partners. My role has also included being involved with initial research, site visits & documentation, basic human factors, creating information structures to help capture findings (infographics/charts), and building lots of mockups in paper, foamcore, FDM, SLA, wood, and metal.
